A Kid's Messenger Bag is Superior to Regular Book Bags and Backpacks For Many Reasons

A kid's messenger bag is the best thing for both school and play, and greatly out-performs the duties that any common backpack can take care of for today's kids. Let's consider comfortability and mobility first; imagine a child is using a backpack...

as with anyone young or old, the first time an opportunity arises to take it off and set it down, you do so.

In fact, it's required if you ever need to get at anything held within.
This causes a bit of a problem, and one that kids and adults alike have fallen prey to - leaving them somewhere and forgetting them (have you ever been able to sit anywhere with one on your back?).
Think of how many times this has happened - a backpack is left at a previous class in school, somewhere at camp, on a bus, at a friend's house, in a car as it drives away, or under a table at a burger joint.

This is where a kid's messenger bag comes in handy.
It hangs over the shoulder diagonally across the body so that the bag and its contents are much more easily accessible.

As for mobility, with a simple slide of the shoulder strap, the back rests at the child's back as she or he rides a bike to any destination.
Sitting in a car or on a bus is no problem at all with the bag at one's side, and everything held within can be gotten to without taking it off.

Even throughout an entire school day, from class to class, these fashionable carry-alls do wonders for carrying books, laptops and calculators from class to class without a hitch.
Even sitting at one's desk in class, they are often comfortably forgotten that they even rest on the student's shoulder.
The durability of a kid's messenger bag's design is quite another thing as well.

.. made of tough, durable canvas, and having a waterproof lining, a child need not worry about carrying anything electronic -whether it's a laptop on the way to school or a library, or a bunch of video game discs and computer components on the way to a friend's house for a sleep-over. Without ever removing it from the child's shoulder, it can be slid to rest on the back while riding a bike, kept at one's side while walking or sitting, or even moved in front while on a crowded school bus where anything held within will be at an easy reach.
Again, perhaps the best appealing feature for parents is that a kid's messenger bag tends to stay on the child and not get left anywhere.
A kid's messenger bag becomes almost like a fashionable extension of the child's body, going wherever the child goes, and always coming back along with them, with everything still securely inside.
